The preference we remember
When you save a cookie choice, we store it locally on your device so the website can respect it on future visits. The saved record includes your choice, the time it was saved and its expiry. It is not an advertising identifier.

If your browser blocks local storage, a choice can be held for the current page only. Clearing browser storage removes the saved choice, so the website will ask again.
When you choose a Vimeo film
A Vimeo player is contacted only after you choose to load an optional film. You can allow the film once without saving a lasting preference. Choosing to remember the permission saves your choice for 180 days.
Loading the player sends Vimeo connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Our player uses Vimeo’s do-not-track setting. Essential security cookies can still be used, and cookies already held from earlier Vimeo visits may be sent.

Change your mind at any time
Open Cookie settings to allow or decline optional media. Withdrawing permission removes an active embedded player and prevents further embeds from loading until you allow them again.
A Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal keeps optional Vimeo embeds off. You can still choose a direct Vimeo link, where Vimeo’s own site policies apply.
Your browser can also block or remove cookies and local storage. Changing a site preference does not erase cookies already set by Vimeo; manage those through your browser.
